Haru Harbor is a free farming and village game for iOS and Android, set in a quiet Japanese village by the water. Made by Mizu Studio. "Haru" means spring in Japanese.

Your grandmother has left you her old house. The rice terraces have run wild, the tea house is closed and the ferry has not sailed in years. You bring the village back, one calm day at a time.

Water is part of the game. You irrigate rice terraces with a water wheel and canals, fish from the river jetty and the harbor pier, and breed koi in your pond. Around 200 goods come in short chains that need no manual: rice becomes flour and flour becomes mochi, tea leaves become matcha, soybeans become tofu and miso.

Selling is social, never forced. Fill the crates of your ferry, serve guests in the tea house and trade at the morning market, with search and a wish list. Visit friends, join a village community of up to 30 players and share a weekly boat festival. Kawa the otter buys what is left over, so the market works when it is quiet.

The year follows Japan's seasons. Twelve festivals, from cherry blossoms to lantern nights and the first snow, arrive one at a time. Missed festivals return in the return shop.

Haru Harbor aims to be fair. Real money buys comfort, decoration and joy, never a paywall in front of your progress. Everyone in a country sees the same prices and offers, there are no paid random boxes, and pearls are spent only after a confirmation with time to undo. Videos are optional, at most six a day, and “Ad-free” is a one-time purchase for anyone who wants none.

Nothing dies, nothing spoils and a pause is never punished. Twenty minutes a day is enough, and your village waits as you left it.

How Haru Harbor is made

The game world is a stylized 3D world built in Blender and Unity, with a warm, painterly shader, soft light and a kit of models. For characters, portraits, goods icons and textures we use AI-assisted tools and curate and rework the results by hand. Programming, rules, economy and tests are built with the help of Claude. The screenshots in this press kit are real captures of the game; the loading screen and festival banners are illustrations made the same AI-assisted way.
