Cozy here means that nothing bad happens. Nothing dies, nothing spoils, and no timer runs out against you. Ripe fields wait, the ferry waits at the horizon, and guests in the tea house keep their seats while you are away.

Twenty minutes a day are enough, and a week off is fine too. When you come back after a while, a short summary shows what was finished, and after a longer break a welcome back gift waits for you.

What you do

Calm by design

  • Nothing spoils

Crops, animals and buildings wait finished until you come back. A full storehouse keeps goods where they are instead of throwing them away.

  • One festival at a time

Only one big festival runs at a time, and its decorations come back later in the return shop. Nothing is missed for good.

  • A letter every day

Every day a villager writes you a letter with a small gift. There is no streak that can break.

  • Logical without a manual

Every chain of goods makes sense from everyday life: rice becomes flour, and flour becomes mochi.

  • Together, not against each other

Helping always pays off for the helper, and competitions run only between village communities.

  • Fair by principle

No paid random boxes, the same prices for everyone, and a few seconds to undo before pearls are spent.

Life in the village

What you do by the water

Around 200 goods come in short chains you understand without a manual: rice becomes flour and flour becomes mochi, tea leaves become matcha, soybeans become tofu and miso.

  • 21crops
  • 200goods
  • 24kinds of fish
  • 16koi patterns
  • 14villagers
  • 12festivals

Questions

Questions

Is Haru Harbor a cozy game?

Yes. Haru Harbor is built around calm: nothing dies, nothing spoils, a pause is never punished, and the weekly Boat Festival has no time limits. Twenty minutes a day are enough.

Can I take a break without losing anything?

Yes. Fields, animals and buildings wait finished, the ferry waits at the horizon and guests stay in the tea house. After a longer break a summary shows what happened, and a welcome back gift waits for you.

Do I have to play every day?

No. There are daily goals and a daily letter, but no streak that can break, and goals become smaller for players who come less often.

On which devices will it run?

Haru Harbor is coming to iOS and Android, worldwide at the same time, and is played in landscape. The date is not set yet.
